Getting Started

In this article, we will walk you through each step of the Student Portal. Some of these steps will be new information that you need to provide for the Graduation Webpage while other steps will be verifying information uploaded to the platform by your school.



Agreement to Participate

Here some brief information on the Student Portal can be found including the deadline to submit your profile. Here you also agree to participate in Envision Virtual Graduations by clicking the check box or you may opt-out. Once you have agreed to participate we can begin filling in your profile by clicking Let's Get Started.




Name Verification

The next step is Name Verification. Here you can check the spelling of your name. If there is an error or you would like to use a different preferred name you can request a change by clicking the Request Change button. Note that this is just a request and a school administrator will review any change requests before they are activated.




The next step in the Name Verification process is the Phonetic Spelling page. Here you can spell out your name the way it should be pronounced. This helps to ensure that your name is pronounced as accurately as possible during the graduation ceremony. 



The next step in the Name Verification process is the option to submit an audio recording of you saying your own name. This is another tool that will help us pronounce your name as accurately as possible. This step is optional but encouraged. Please ensure your web browser and the Student Portal have permission to access your device’s microphone.




Degrees and Recognitions Check

The next step in the Student Portal is the Degrees and Special Recognitions check. 



For students graduating from a College or University, your Degree(s) will be listed here. For students graduating from High School or other institutions, this section may simply say Diploma or Certificate depending on the choice of your school. If there is an error you may request a change by clicking the Request Change button below. Note that this is just a request and a school administrator will review any change requests before they are activated.



The Special Recognitions section is an optional section which your school may choose to use. If it is enabled by your school Special Recognitions such as academic awards, sports teams, or other activities could be listed here. If there is an error you may request a change by clicking the Request Change button below. Photo Upload

The next step in the Student Portal is the upload of your graduation photo. This photo will be featured during the graduation ceremony and should be uploaded in JPEG, PNG, or GIF format and should be at least 800 pixels wide. Your school will include some instructions on what your photo should look like here. After selecting your photo for upload a crop window will appear in order to ensure your photo is the proper size and shape for the graduation.



Quote Upload (Optional)

The next set in the Student Portal is the Quote which will be featured in the graduation ceremony. This is an optional step enabled by your school who will also provide some brief instructions here.

Review Student Information

The section of the Student Portal allows you to review what your final graduation card will look like and review and finalize your submissions. If you come back to the portal after your initial uploads to check on your submissions and approvals this is where you will begin.
